As program director of Accountability, Terry Seery directs initiatives that focus on college access and success for all Ohioans. Seery advocates for policy changes that increase access to higher education for both traditional and nontraditional students. In addition, she is also responsible for performance assessment and accountability across the foundation.
Formerly council aide to Cincinnati City Council member James Tarbell, Seery researched and reported on public policy issues, as well as advocating for those issues. In this position, she gained a broad understanding of issues facing communities and an appreciation for community involvement in municipal concerns. Prior to that, Seery worked for Andersen Consulting, where she rose from an analyst to a managerial position, helping organizations change their processes for greater success.
Seery is very involved with the Cincinnati community, having supported local campaigns for both candidates and issues. She is on the Charter Committee, a local independent political organization working for good government.
Seery earned her bachelor's degree in mathematics from Boston College.
