As senior vice president and CFO for KnowledgeWorks Foundation, William L. McNeese manages the Foundation's investment portfolio and all aspects of accounting and finance. McNeese brings significant experience in both for-profit and non-profit organizations to his CFO position.

Beginning his career with Arthur Andersen & Co.'s audit division, McNeese also served for several years as vice president of finance and CFO for Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. His many accomplishments include developing successful financial plans for two start-up organizations that helped them obtain investors and secure backing. McNeese has also created cost reduction plans that have saved organizations millions of dollars over time.

When McNeese is not managing the finances of the Foundation, he's very active in his community helping the Boy Scouts in several capacities, from assistant scoutmaster for a local troop to a member of the board of the Cincinnati area council. He is active in youth sports, having served as a coach for several teams, including the state champion Anderson Orangemen lacrosse team.

A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, McNeese graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1974 with a bachelor's degree in economics, and Bowling Green State University in 1976 with a master's degree in accountancy. He received his CPA in 1978.
