Tabitha Tsai

Tabitha holds an Honours BA from the University of Toronto in Industrial Relations and Japan Studies, with a Minor in Sociology, and a MA in International Education from New York University; her area specialization is in global education and cross-cultural training and curriculum development. Before joining Global Kids, Tabitha was the Program Manager for the Mayor's Office Sister City Program, based in the UN Consul Corps & Protocol office linking children in underserved communities all across NYC to children worldwide. Tabitha taught English on the Japan Exchange Teaching Program in Yokohama, Japan, and developed youth-led initiatives to learn English using digital media. Tabitha is the Second Life Education Specialist at Global Kids, and is responsible for the Virtual Video Project After-school Program in collaboration with the Museum of the Moving Image, as well as managing short-term projects with partners such as UNICEF, IBM, The Holocaust Museum, Learn & Serve America, and others.
