Innovations Research Convenings

KnowledgeWorks is hosting a set of innovations research convenings in an effort to identify and learn about breakthrough teaching and learning strategies that are reflective of components of the Map of the Future Forces Affecting Education. In that pursuit, a select group of innovative education professionals, including teachers, researchers, entrepreneurs, and others are invited by the foundation to join a series of generative, small-group conversations where participants explore one another’s innovative work and investigate synergistic opportunities for future development. The conversations are focused around four aspects of teaching quality: developing professional learning communities, modernizing teaching tools and processes, re-imagining teacher roles, and preparing highly effective teachers.
